There are several locations in the country to go on a Budweiser Brewery Tour and residents are lucky that this company has a Merrimack home. The Merrimack Brewery has been around since 1970 and is a key piece in getting fresh beer to the states in the Northeast. Guests to the brewery can choose to go on one of many tours, grab a bite to eat or consider hosting a special event at The Biergarten, gaze at the amazing Budweiser Clydesdales, and grab some souvenirs to take back to your Merrimack real estate at the gift shop.
The Budweiser Brewery hires top notch tour guides who are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Choose from four different available tours. Take advantage of the complimentary tour, which is available throughout the year. This tour goes through the history of Budweiser and the signature 7-Step Brewing Process. When the tour is over, those 21 and over will have the chance to do a tasting. Soft drinks are available as well. This experience also includes the opportunity to visit the Clydesdale Hamlet. Snap some pictures of the horses for a great memory. If you are looking for a more mellow experience with family or friends, think about a private group tour. Similar to the complimentary tour, this one also offers a more in depth look at the brewing process. The cost is $7 per person for groups of 15-35 or $250 for groups of 35 or more.
Get a complete behind the scenes look at the brewing of Budweiser on a Beermaster Tour. Guests get to visit the Brew House, Lager Cellar, Packaging Facility, Quality Assurance, and the Finishing Cellar. Those 21 and over can even enjoy a drink right out of the Finishing Tank. This tour costs $35 for those of drinking age and $10 for those aged 13-20. No one under 13 is allowed on this tour and all guests must wear closed toe shoes and long pants. The last available tour is The Day Fresh Tour. This looks at the entire journey of beer from “Seed to Sip.” Guests can explore the Brewhall, Beechwood Aging Cellar, and overlook the Packaging Facility. This tour costs $10 for those of drinking age and is free for those 20 and under. All who call Merrimack home are invited to come take a tour and learn more about the brewery.
