Six well marked trails ranging in distance from 0.38 miles to 2.94 miles area available. Spend an hour exploring the park or turn it into a whole day’s adventure. Fall is an especially beautiful time to come see the trees changing colors. There are many outlooks and bridges to stand upon and gaze out at the scenery.

Many families also find themselves spending time here making use of the Soifert Playing Fields. Cheer on those playing soccer, baseball, or other sports on the fields. Parking is available at the ballfields behind Hannafords, near Nashua High School South, and at several other locations around the perimeter of the park. Park hours are 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day. Be sure to stop to check out the Gatehouse and Hydro Dam located in the southwest corner of the park. The Gatehouse, built in 1886 still brings the river to Millpond. A boat launch is also located near the same area. Take your boat out for a relaxing float or try your hand at catching some fish. It is rare to find such a beautiful and extensive park right in the middle of a city and so close to any Nashua home. Take advantage of it and get out for some fresh air. Merrimack Home to Brewery Tour

Merrimack Home to Budweiser Brewery TourThere are several locations in the country to go on a Budweiser Brewery Tour and residents are lucky that this company has a Merrimack home. The Merrimack Brewery has been around since 1970 and is a key piece in getting fresh beer to the states in the Northeast. Guests to the brewery can choose to go on one of many tours, grab a bite to eat or consider hosting a special event at The Biergarten, gaze at the amazing Budweiser Clydesdales, and grab some souvenirs to take back to your Merrimack real estate at the gift shop.

The Budweiser Brewery hires top notch tour guides who are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Choose from four different available tours. Take advantage of the complimentary tour, which is available throughout the year. This tour goes through the history of Budweiser and the signature 7-Step Brewing Process. When the tour is over, those 21 and over will have the chance to do a tasting. Soft drinks are available as well. This experience also includes the opportunity to visit the Clydesdale Hamlet. Snap some pictures of the horses for a great memory. If you are looking for a more mellow experience with family or friends, think about a private group tour. Similar to the complimentary tour, this one also offers a more in depth look at the brewing process. The cost is $7 per person for groups of 15-35 or $250 for groups of 35 or more.

Get a complete behind the scenes look at the brewing of Budweiser on a Beermaster Tour. Guests get to visit the Brew House, Lager Cellar, Packaging Facility, Quality Assurance, and the Finishing Cellar. Those 21 and over can even enjoy a drink right out of the Finishing Tank. This tour costs $35 for those of drinking age and $10 for those aged 13-20. No one under 13 is allowed on this tour and all guests must wear closed toe shoes and long pants. The last available tour is The Day Fresh Tour. This looks at the entire journey of beer from “Seed to Sip.” Guests can explore the Brewhall, Beechwood Aging Cellar, and overlook the Packaging Facility. This tour costs $10 for those of drinking age and is free for those 20 and under. All who call Merrimack home are invited to come take a tour and learn more about the brewery. Hudson Home to Indoor Shooting Range

Hit your target on one of 15 newly constructed lanes. This brightly lit, well ventilated facility is monitored by certified Range Safety Officers to ensure safety and that everyone has a good time. Rest assured that your ears will be protected thanks to the acoustically treated walls and ceiling. Come to shoot all day for only $20 on weekdays or $25 on the weekends. Each shooting lane is 25 yards and rifle rated.

Granite State Indoor Range also has firearms for sale or to rent for use at the range. Choose from handguns, rifles, shotguns, and full-auto machine guns. Take advantage of the “Try Before You Buy” program that offers the rental of single caliber handguns for only $15.00. That fee can be applied to the purchase of a firearm if the transaction takes place on the same day. There is also a “No Regrets”return policy. If a patron is not satisfied with their purchase once getting back to their Hudson home, it can be returned within 10 days for full store credit that can be used to purchase a different firearm. Other perks of purchasing here include a lifetime warranty on all new firearms as well as a free one month pass to the gun range, which is a $75 value.

Classes are available to residents of Hudson real estate as well as those living in surrounding areas. There are offerings for all skill levels. Anyone under the age of 16 is required to complete a Youth Orientation and Safety Training Class, which is offered once a month. The fee is $25 and this class includes both classroom and range time. A parent or guardian is required to accompany the student. Once the class is completed, students will have the qualification needed to shoot at Granite State Indoor Range.
